Data Hub Service (DHS) AWS 2.9.10 includes the following new features and changes:

DHS Network

Custom DHS Network CIDR

You can customize your DHS network CIDR range in this release. If you specify a custom network CIDR, the block size must be between a /16 netmask and /22 netmask. Otherwise, we will allocate a CIDR range for your DHS network.

DHS Network

Updated Internal CIDR Range

In this release, the internal CIDR range is updated to 10.128.0.0/10. If your VPC CIDR is in the 10.128.0.0/10 range, your block size must be between a /20 netmask and /28 netmask. The maximum number of IP addresses including all subnets in this CIDR range is 4,096.

Updated Client-Side VPC Template

This release includes an update to customer-example.template, which creates your client-side VPC in AWS CloudFormation Console. With the Zone Deploy field, you can specify the number of availability zones in which you will host your client-side VPC.

Data Hub Service (DHS) on AWS 2.9.5 includes the following new features and changes:

Billing Summary and Details Updates

This release updates the Billing Summary and Billing Details reports. The MarkLogic Capacity Unit (MCU) consumption charges are updated, enabling you to view and monitor your consumption more easily. Additionally, you can view data transfer charges from MarkLogic Data Hub Service to your application or Business Intelligence tool. See Billing Summary and Billing Details.

MCU Capacity Drop-Down Menu Added

When creating a service, the MCU capacity field is now a drop-down menu in the portal. Select a baseline capacity range from the drop-down menu, such as 64-112, and drag the slider to your preferred capacity. Additionally, when viewing a service's details, you can change the capacity only within the previously specified range. You cannot select a different baseline capacity range.

External and Internal User Configuration

This release updates the buttons for creating internal service users and switching to external service users. When viewing a service's details, first click Internal and then click Manage Users to create internal service users. After you create internal service users, you can switch to an external user configuration by clicking External.

Service User Management

In this release, you can click a username to edit a service user account. To delete a service user account, click the Delete button. See Edit a DHS User Account and Delete a DHS User Account.

Portal User Management

You can click an account user name to update a portal user account in this release. See Edit a Portal User Account.

MCUs Year

You can purchase MarkLogic Capacity Units (MCUs) in bulk and at a discount through an MUCs Year contract. Contracts are for each region and based on compute usage. Contact your MarkLogic Account Executive or Sales Representative to purchase an MCUs Year contract. See MCUs Year.

VPC CIDR

Endpoints and Port Numbers

CloudFormation Template Improvements

Service Dashboard Improvements
