Configure a Data Hub Service Network
Configure a Data Hub Service (DHS) network to host one or more of your services. You can create two types of networks: peered or public. MarkLogic recommends creating a peered network because this option enables you to select private service endpoints, meaning only devices inside the network can access the service. A peered networking environment connects your DHS network with your client-side network, enabling both networks to communicate with each other. A public network requires you to select public service endpoints that expose the service to the Internet, which can create a security or intellectual property risk.
