DHS Architecture

When setting up MarkLogic Data Hub Service (DHS) in the cloud, a number of databases, appservers, and load balancers are provisioned and configured as shown in the following diagram.

Log Retention Policy

Logs are archived by a DHS instance until the instance is deleted. For details on accessing app server logs, see App Server Logs. When a DHS instance is deleted, logs can be retained by selecting the Retain Archive Storage check box at the time of deletion.
