Create and Edit Concepts Using Hub Central

Before you begin

You need:

  • Security role: Hub Central Developer, Hub Central Modeler or any role that inherits it. Learn more: Users and Roles

Procedure

  1. Go to the Model area of Hub Central.
    Learn how.
    1. Go to your Hub Central endpoint.
      Note: Disregard this step if you are working from an on-prem environment. See Step 1b.
    2. In the icon bar, click the Model icon ().

  2. Click Add and Add new concept class.

  3. In the Add Concept Class dialog, fill in the required fields, and click Add.
    Note: The Name is required; however, the description, color, and icon are optional.

  4. View the concept class in the Data Model in the Graph View and Table View.
    Important: The Concepts nodes have perforated borders. The Entity Types nodes have solid borders.
