Change Password - Portal User Account

Before you begin

You need:

  • An Azure account with permissions to create and configure Azure VNets.

About this task

This task changes your portal user account password in your Data Hub Service (DHS) portal user account. The password change only affects the portal user account logged into your DHS portal.
Important: For this task, you need any portal role. See Portal Roles.

Procedure

  1. Go to the MarkLogic Data Hub Service home page.
  2. In the top menu, click the username to open the drop-down menu.
    • In the drop-down menu, click Change Password.

  3. In the Change Password modal window, enter the current and new passwords.

    Important: Each portal user password will expire 90 days after creation.

    If you do not change your password before the end of the 90 days, click the Forgot password? link on the portal sign-in page.

    Password Requirements
    • At least eight characters.
    • At least one upper-case letter.
    • At least one lower-case letter.
    • At least one number.
    • At least one special character (!, @, #, $, %, ^, &, *, ?).
    • Cannot contain the first name, last name, or username of the portal user account.
  4. Click Change.
