Stop a Data Hub Service

Before you begin

You need:

Peered Track

An Azure virtual network (VNet) with a bastion host
A peered DHS network
A Standard or Low Priority DHS with a Peered Network

Public Track

A public DHS network
A Standard or Low Priority DHS with a Public Network

About this task

In this task, you will stop your Data Hub Service (DHS). When you stop your service, you can restart in later and the "state of the service" will be maintained.

Important: For this task, you need the SERV-ADMIN portal role. See Portal Roles.

Procedure

Go to the MarkLogic Data Hub Service home page.
Navigate to your DHS to stop.
- In the Service column, click the service name.
Tip: You can customize your dashboard with column sorting, column configuring, and services searching and filtering. See Customize DHS Dashboard.
In the Data Hub Service page, click Stop.
In the Please Confirm modal window, click Yes.

Results

The details of your configuration are displayed, including the status of the service and the endpoints. The status of the service must be SERVICE_STOPPED.

To see the MarkLogic Data Hub Service details, click the service name in the Dashboard.

What to do next

You can resume a Data Hub Service.
You can terminate a Data Hub Service.
