Use Facets with Data Hub Explorer
Procedure
- Navigate to the Browse Documents page.
- In Data Hub Explorer's navigation bar, click Browse Documents.
- Narrow your document search results using two types of facets: Entity Properties and Hub Properties.
- Entity Properties facets are based on the index settings applied to entity properties.
Properties are listed as facets if
Element Range Index
orPath Range Index
are applied in the associated entity model. For details, see Index Settings.
- To view Entity Properties facets, select one entity from the drop-down menu.
Note: Facets will vary depending on the entity you select.
- In the left panel, select the check box at the left of the value for which you want to filter documents.
- To view Entity Properties facets, select one entity from the drop-down menu.
- Hub Properties facets are based on metadata added to documents by Data Hub.
The following table lists the types of Hub Property facets:
Note: Facet categories are the same for all document result sets.Facet Category Description Created On Narrow your search by date of document creation. Documents are created during the harmonization process.
- To display the date range picker, click Start date ~ End date.
- Choose the date range by selecting the start and end dates.
Result: Your document search results will return documents harmonized during the selected date range.
Tip: To select a single day, hover your cursor over the day and double click your mouse.
Collection Narrow your search by collections defined during entity modeling. Flow Narrow your search based on the flows from which the documents were harmonized. See About Flows. Step Narrow your search based on the steps from which the documents were harmonized. See About Steps.
- Entity Properties facets are based on the index settings applied to entity properties.
