A Host is an instance of MarkLogic Server.
- host name specifies the name of the host.
- group specifies the group to which the host belongs.
- bind port specifies the port on which the server listens for inter-host communication.
- foreign bind port specifies the port on which the server listens for foreign inter-host communication.
- zone specifies the zone of the host.
Buttons and Tabs:
- The leave button on the host configuration screen only appears if the Admin Interface is connected to that host. Clicking the leave button will separate the host from the cluster.
- In a multi-host cluster, a host cannot leave the cluster if there are still forests assigned to it or if there are any foreign clusters associated with it.
- In a single-host cluster, a host cannot leave the cluster.
- The Status tab displays current information for the specified host.
