Group Host Configuration Help

A Host is an instance of MarkLogic Server. A Group is a set of similarly configured hosts.

Configurations are set at the group level and applied to all hosts within the group.
Clicking on a host from the Configure tab navigates to that host's admin page, where you can change group membership.

host name specifies the name of the host.
group specifies the group to which the host belongs.
bind port specifies the port on which the server listens for inter-host communication.
foreign bind port specifies the port on which the server listens for foreign inter-host communication.
zone specifies the zone of the host.
