) as xs:integer?

Summary

Returns an integer between 1 and 366, both inclusive, representing the yearday value in the localized value of $arg.

If $arg is an empty sequence, returns the empty sequence.

Parameters
$arg The date whose days of the year will be returned.

Example

xdmp:yearday-from-date(xs:date('1997-07-16'))
=> 197

Example

xdmp:yearday-from-date(xs:date('2000-01-01'))
=> 1
