DELETE /manage/v2/databases/{id|name}

Summary

This resource address deletes the named database from the cluster. The database can be identified either by id or name.

URL Parameters
forest-delete Specifies to delete the forests attached to the database. If not unspecified, the forests won't be effected. If configuration is specified, the forest configuration will be removed but public forest data will remain. If data is specified, the forest configuration and data will be removed.
format The format of the posted data. Can be either html, json, or xml (default). This parameter is not meaningful with view=edit. This value overrides the Accept header if both are present.
Request Headers
Accept The expected MIME type of the response. If the format parameter is present, it takes precedence over the Accept header.
Content-type The MIME type of the data in the response body. Depending upon the value of the format parameter or Accept header, one of application/xml, application/json, or text/html.

Response

Upon success, a status code of 204 (No Content) is returned. A status code of 401 (Unauthorized) is returned if the user does not have the necessary privileges.

This operation requires the manage-admin role, or the following privilege:
