   x as Number
) as Number

Summary

Returns the arc sine of x, in radians, in the range from -pi/2 to +pi/2 (inclusive).

Parameters
x The fraction to be evaluated. Must be in the range of -1 to +1 (inclusive).

Example

  math.asin(.5)

  => 0.523598775598299
