Fragment Parent Configuration Help

A Database is a collection of forests.

A Forest consists of Stands.

Each Stand is a set of XML fragments, and is implemented by a set of compressed binary files contained within a sub-directory of the forest directory.

Each fragment parent specifies a class of parent nodes whose child nodes will be managed as database fragments. Any child of a fragment parent will become a fragment root. Each fragment is handled as contiguous data. Changes to the fragment parent configuration effect new documents loaded into the database, documents that are modified, and documents (and fragments) that are reindexed/refragmented.
