ColumnBuilderPlan.prototype.collation(
   collation as String
) as ColumnBuilderPlan

Summary

Sets the collation for the column created by ColumnBuilderPlan.prototype.addColumn . This only applies to columns with string types, as collations specify the order in which strings are sorted and how they are compared.

Parameters
collation The collation for the string column. It always starts with "http://marklogic.com/collation/".
