Summary

This function sets the bind method on the named external security object.

For more information on the external security bind method, see Creating an External Authentication Configuration Object in the Security Guide.

Parameters
external-security-name Name of the external authorization configuration object.
ldap-bind-method Bind method. Either MD5 or simple. When using LDAP with simple bind, the password is not encrypted, so it is recommended that you use secure ldaps (LDAP with SSL).
