admin.databaseSetAssignmentPolicy

admin.databaseSetAssignmentPolicy(
   config as element(configuration),
   database-id as (Number|String),
   policy as element(db.assignmentPolicy)
) as element(configuration)

Summary

This function sets the assignment policy for the specified database in the configuration. An assignment policy can be created by either admin.bucketAssignmentPolicy() or admin.segmentAssignmentPolicy() or admin.statisticalAssignmentPolicy() or admin.rangeAssignmentPolicy(partitionKey, lowerBoundIncluded) or admin.queryAssignmentPolicy() or admin.legacyAssignmentPolicy().

Parameters
config A configuration specification, typically as returned from one of the Admin module functions.
database-id The ID of the database.
policy The assignment policy.

Required Privileges

This operation requires at least one of the following privileges:

http://marklogic.com/xdmp/privileges/admin/database

http://marklogic.com/xdmp/privileges/admin/database/{id}
