admin:database-set-assignment-policy

admin:database-set-assignment-policy(
   $config as element(configuration),
   $database-id as xs:unsignedLong,
   $policy as element(db:assignment-policy)
) as element(configuration)

Summary

This function sets the assignment policy for the specified database in the configuration. An assignment policy can be created by either admin:bucket-assignment-policy() or admin:segment-assignment-policy() or admin:statistical-assignment-policy() or admin:range-assignment-policy($partition-key, $lower-bound-included) or admin:query-assignment-policy() or admin:legacy-assignment-policy() .

Parameters
config A configuration specification, typically as returned from one of the Admin module functions.
database-id The ID of the database.
policy The assignment policy.

Required Privileges

This operation requires at least one of the following privileges:

http://marklogic.com/xdmp/privileges/admin/database

http://marklogic.com/xdmp/privileges/admin/database/{id}

  (: returns the new configuration element -- use admin:save-configuration
     to save the changes to the configuration or pass the configuration
     to other Admin API functions to make other changes.  :)
