Summary

This function returns the external LDAP group names assigned to the named user.

Parameters
user-name The name of the user.

Required Privileges

http://marklogic.com/xdmp/privileges/user-get-external-names

Usage Notes

If a user with name equal to $user-name is not found, an error is returned.

    // execute this against the Security database
    const sec = require('/MarkLogic/security.xqy');
    
    sec.userGetExternalNames("user1");
    // Returns the external names for the user "user1".
