admin:host-renew-xdqp-certificate(
   $config as element(configuration),
   $duration as xs:duration?
) as element(configuration)

Summary

This function generates a new xdqp host certificate for a host if the current certificate will expire within the duration.

Parameters
config A configuration specification, typically as returned from one of the Admin module functions.
duration The duration that the xdqp host certificate will expire. The default is 3 months.

       at "/MarkLogic/admin.xqy";

let $config := admin:get-configuration()

  admin:host-renew-xdqp-certificate($config, xs:yearMonthDuration("P3M"))

  (: returns the new configuration element -- use admin:save-configuration to save
  the changes to the configuration or pass the configuration to other Admin API
  functions to make other changes.  :)
